This little Spinner dolphin ran into just the right people when he found himself caught in a fishing net. Divers from Maui Dive Shop, located in Hawaii, were out on the water when they spotted the baby dolphin. The poor animal was struggling with the net, as his nervous mother looked on, undoubtedly scared for her little one. Fortunately, these kind hearted humans jumped into action to free the little guy. It was truly a sight to behold!
Though dolphins are one of the most intelligent species on the planet, they can’t stand up against the growing debris entering the oceans at an unprecedented rate. There are an estimated 5.25 trillion pieces of garbage in the ocean which includes massive balls of netting. One specific ball of netting that was found mid-way across the Pacific contained an unfathomable 89 different types of net and line!
